If there’s a weather advisory near a surf spot, you’ll now see a warning icon next to the spot’s name at the top of the page. Tap it to view details.

Also redirected the north coast buoy data to fetch from buoy 46248 since it seems to be consistently operational again.

Made a few minor bug fives and adjustments.

• Fixed an issue with Cape Lookout’s quality predictions caused by south wind being considered more favorably than it should.
• Fixed a performance issue that caused the page to jitter when scrolling in landscape orientation.
• Fixed a visual issue that drew a vertical line through the surf height of the current hour during non-daylight hours.
• Fixed an issue when swiping right that caused incoming spot to fade in instead of slide in from left.
• Adjusted language describing current surf height and conditions for each spot.

Swipe Between Favorites

Now it’s easy to compare conditions between spots for a particular day and time. Simply swipe left or right over a spot name at the top of the screen to quickly move between your favorite spots.

Toggle Between Spots

If you’d like to compare to spots that aren’t next to each other, use the spot toggle by tapping on the current spot’s name.

Automatically Scroll to the Current Time

When today is selected in the chart, tap it again to automatically scroll to the current time (no matter what time it is). Tap it again to return to the top of the forecast.

Better Dark Mode Support

The Report now supports switching between light and dark mode on your phone without needing to reload the page.

• In the hourly forecast, tap the wind detail to convert the direction to its cardinal value (N, E, S, W).
• Refactored all icons to support Font Awesome version 6 beta.
• Fixed a bug that prohibited scrolling the daily chart while the hourly forecast was also scrolling.
• Slightly decreased the size of the re-sync button on the forecast pages.

• Rotate your phone to landscape to see a third swell (when there is one). Sometimes it can make a difference, especially in the winter.
• You’ll also see the temperature and a weather conditions icon for each hour.
• Default profile now shows your initials. You can upload a custom image by tapping on it.
• Replaced re-sync icon on forecast page with one that doesn’t wobble when pressed.
• Fixed a few minor bugs.

• Huge update. Increased forecast from 7 to 14 days. Remember, near term swell forecasts are more accurate. Longer term swell forecasts are subject to fluctuate a bit as the storms that create them develop.
